So you will love it
In Africa there is a mobile clinic that cures AIDS, but I can’t tell you about it.
Here’s why:
“...an individual may not practice medicine...by diagnosing, relieving in any degree or curing, or professing or attempting to diagnose, relieve or cure a human disease, ailment, defect or complaint, whether physical or mental, or of physical and mental origin, by attendance or by advice, or by prescribing or furnishing a drug, medicine, appliance, manipulation, method or a therapeutic agent whatsoever...”[1] (emphasis mine)
That is the definition of medical practice that requires state licensure. If you fall afoul of this in public in any way (including on your free blog where you only talk about your own experience), that’s a felony. A physician can literally kill you, “by attendance or by advice, or by prescribing or furnishing a drug, medicine, appliance, manipulation, method or a therapeutic agent whatsoever,” and face nothing more than an uncomfortable moment in the mirror should he or she even experience one, as long as they have the license to do so.
But if you do not have the magical permission slip that only costs you years of your life in an indoctrination camp, and hundreds of thousands of dollars (but hey, at least it’s almost impossible to flunk out of medical school for incompetence anymore!), you may not touch the topic of “cure” (and, even with the magic papers, if you prioritize the health and safety of your patients over the interests of the pharmaceutical and insurance companies, they will come for you).
